Way down in the sub-basement where only a privileged few have ever had a chance to go, there is a long narrow room that is really a business in itself. Here are printed the endless number of forms, tickets, programs, grade cards, diplomas, etc. that are required by the Springfield Public Schools. Here, too, the Herald is printed and the football and basketball programs; here the type is set ofr the Yearbook and proofs prepared for making up the pages.

Mr. R. A. Todd, in addition to supervising the work of the print shop, teaches printing. He is assisted by Mrs. Helen Conwell, linotypist, and, by Mr. Homer LeFever, who retired last year as master printer, but who will come in to help out when he is needed.
