Frances W. Wannamaker
Frances W. Wannamaker, 77, of Springfield passed away Friday afternoon, June 22, 2007 in the Eaglewood Care Center.
She was born October 20, 1929 in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Frank August and Bertha Frieda (Heinsohn) Wirtz.
She was active in scouting, church and community activities and also attended Hillside Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Brad Chazotte of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Becky and Martin Mingus of Springfield, Ohio; two sons and daughter-in-law, Paul and Roberta Wannamaker of Glendora, California and Matthew Wannamaker of Michigan; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Robert Wannamaker in July of 1994 and one sister, Virginia Balmes.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 4-6 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Criner officiating.
Burial will take place in the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Suite G100, Dayton, Ohio 45459.
