Christine Tipton

Christine Tipton, 77, of Piketon, OH, went to be with the Lord Monday December 29, 2008. She was born June 14, 1931, a daughter of Luther Marcum and Myrtle Halterman in KY.

She is survived by children, James E. Tipton of New Carlisle, Melvin D. Tipton and Mira F. Tipton both of Pike County; two grandchildren, James E. Tipton and William Tipton; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Tipton and Chase Tipton all of New Carlisle; sister, Victoria Turnington of Dayton; several nieces and nephews.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Tipton; her parents; two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 1PM until time of service at 2PM Friday January 2, 2009 in the INGLING WILLIAMS Funeral Home, Cedarville. Interment to follow in the Clifton Cemetery.
