Walter E. Stover
Walter E. Stover, 62, Orlando, FL passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007.
Born October 8, 1944 in New Moorefield, OH to Cephas A. and Clara (Russell) Stover.
Graduated from Fostoria High School in 1962. He worked for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Columbus, OH and the City of Dayton, OH using his computer expertise for many years. He was very active with the Boy Scouts being a Scoutmaster for Troop #451 in Fostoria, OH for 8 yrs, Scoutmaster for Troop #38 in Westerville, OH for 11 yrs and in Westerville, OH he was a Kiwanis Member for 16 yrs, a Key Club Advisor 14 yrs, was Kiwanis Club "Man of the Year" in 1981 and was Zone C Key Club Chairman for 1/4 of the State of OH for 7 yrs.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Scholl and her husband, Tom, of Orlando, FL and Marie Rebbin of North Lewisburg, OH and one brother, Cephas A. (Smokey) Stover of Springfield, OH and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Kreh of Clyde, OH.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., October 6, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in West Jefferson, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America, the Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
