Sue K. Dolbeer Sullivan, 101, of Springfield, died Wednesday morning, May 2, 2007 in Oakwood Village Glaesner Care Center. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on February 28, 1906 the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Hempy) Fultz.

Sue retired as president and owner of Springfield Laundry. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she served as church organist for many years. She was past-president of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Past Worthy Matron of Norris Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Sue enjoyed traveling to Ireland, the Far East, Arlington, Texas, and especially Mullett Lake, Michigan. Her travels took her around the world several times.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Donna Dolbeer of Springfield; two step children, Dianne Sullivan of Austin, Texas and John J. and Nora Sullivan Jr. of Mansfield, Texas; five grandchildren, John (Jan) Dailey, Tom (Peggy) Dailey, Joe Dailey, Cheryl (Andy) Koelsch, and Julie (Chris) Clevenger; and eight great grandchildren, Jeffrey Dailey, Bryan and Megan Dailey, Augusta, Scarlet and Wesley Koelsch, and Jordan and Olivia Sue Clevenger. Also surviving are devoted nieces, Susie (Uhrig) Taylor and Jan (Uhrig) Wiseley; other nieces, Rebecca Shirey and Tillie Jamison; great nephews and niece, Michael and Jonathan Taylor and Heidi Wiseley; and dear friends, John and Peg Harwood and Marie Sain. She was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Donald Dolbeer in 1960; second husband, John J. Sullivan Sr. in 2004; a daughter, Mary Kay Dailey in 2006; three sisters, Fern Otten, Mary Baker, and Ivea Nelle Uhrig; and a brother, Omer Fultz.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mark S. Weatherman officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
