Roy E. Storer
Roy E. Storer, 84, of Springfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in his residence.
He was born July 12, 1923 in Springfield, OH to William G. and Agnes L. (Longo) Storer. Roy retired in 1988 as a paint repairman from Navistar after 33 years of service. He was a member of First Christian Church and WW 2 U.S. Army Veteran.
Roy is survived by 2 children and spouses, Linda and Chuck Pauley and Roy Michael and Mary Storer of Springfield; 2 grandchildren;Carey (Shawn) Harris and Christopher Pauley; 3 great grandchildren, Joshua, Lilly and Kaylie Harris; a brother, Roger (Carol) Storer and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. in 1997, 2 brothers, Richard and William Storer and a sister, Lena Riley.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church, 3638 Middle-Urbana Rd, Springfield, OH with Pastor Craig Grammer officiating. The family will receive friends ½ hour prior to the service and also at a reception following the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church or Community Mercy Hospice.
