Hazel A. Siegfried


Hazel A. Siegfried, age 93, passed away April 29, 2007, in Community Hospital.

She was born February 19, 1914, in Springfield, Ohio to Lewis and Lise Anna (Brecht) Siegfried. After Hazel graduated from Springfield High School, she worked at Crowell Collier and then during WWII at National Supply Company. She was also employed at Ohio Fuel Gas Co. and volunteered for the USO. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and wives; Harry (Minabelle) Siegfried, Walter (Ruth) Siegfried and Albert(Mary) Siegfried; niece and nephew, Hazel Adkins and Walter Earl Siegfried, Jr. She is survived by a niece, Loretta (Paul) Copley and a host of 4 great nieces and nephews, 10 great-great nieces and nephews, 4 great-great-great nieces and nephews, and many special friends at the Ohio Masonic Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2007, from 1-2 pm in the Jackson Lytle Williams Funeral Home, 2425 N. Limestone St., with services following at 2 pm with Pastor John Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.
