Betty Lou Sauter


Betty Lou Sauter, 83, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 in her residence.

She was born on November 28, 1924 in Springfield the daughter of John and Louise (Bogner) Sauter.

She was a lifelong member of St. John's Evangelical Church and was involved with the "Mary Marthas," and sang in the church choir. Betty Lou worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for over thirty-five years as a systems analyst in foreign technologies. She was also involved with the Business and Professional Women's Association, the Women's Town Club, and the Order of the Eastern Star Home City Chapter.

Betty Lou is survived by cousins, Martha Goss and Judy Skinner of Springfield, Susan Skinner of Kentucky and Steven Skinner of Virginia, and caregiver, Janet "Macy" Stidham of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service. Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
