Virginia M. Robertson, 66, of Springfield, died October 15, 2007 in Community Hospital.

She was born January 13, 1941 in Houston, TX to Jesse and Laura (Gonzales) Noraiga. Virginia was a nursing assistant at Mercy Hospital for a number of years.

She is survived by 6 children, Edward Ammons, Rosario (Clifford) Thomas, Kimberly Ratliff, Mario (Heather) Gutierrez, Marcelino Gutierrez and Mykayla Robertson; 14 grandchilden; 18 great grandchildren and her former husband, Jose Gutierrez. Her husband, Robert F. in 2004 and a son, Tony in 2002, preceded her in death.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church with private burial in St. Bernard Cemetery. Conroy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
