Charlotte Ann Ryman
Just 28 days after her 75th birthday Charlotte Ann (Boster) Ryman left this world to be with God, whom she learned to admire and trust through her Lutheran upbringing.
Charlotte loved, most of all, her children Elizabeth Lynn (Mark) Fryling of Carver, Minnesota and Dr. Christopher John (Lynn) Cooper of Perrysburg, Ohio; Grandchildren, William, Caroline and Katie Ann Fryling and Emily, Katherine, Johnathan and Peter Cooper were also precious in her heart.
Mrs. Ryman taught at Springfield High School before going to Germany for one year and then taught at Oak Lawn High School in Illinois, before returning to Clark County to teach at Olive Branch, South Vienna, Northeastern and Kenton Ridge. She retired in 1991. In her final days at Mercy she was in the good hands of at least six of her former students. She was so respected by her colleagues that she was a leader in the NELEA at Kenton Ridge, head of the districts Professional Development Committee and was faculty advisor to the Kenton Ridge National Honor Society.
Also surviving Charlotte is her husband of 32 years, Donald E. Ryman; brother, Charles (Maggie) Boster all of Springfield; sister, Cora Mae (Dale) Spence of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mabel Boster, Sr., sister, Betty Skidmore of Rochester, New York and her brother, John A. Boster less than one month ago.
A private graveside burial will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 2nd at First Lutheran Church with Pastor James Christian officiating. A Bach Concert by Shirley Tennant will be held in the sanctuary one half hour prior to the memorial service. Arrangements by the Conroy Funeral Home.
