Rosemary Powell
Rosemary Powell, of Springfield, passed away Monday September 17, 2007.
She was born March 9, 1922, in Springfield, Ohio a daughter of Clayton I. and Elizabeth (Quinn) Powell. She was a lifetime member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Yellow Springs and the Women's Republican Party.
Rosemary was well known throughout the Clark County community where she was very active in many organizations such as; Right to Life Society, Hertzler and Pennsylvania House Committees and the Animal Welfare League. She participated in beauty pageants throughout her life and served as a judge for the Clark County Fair Queen and the Starburst Beauty Pageant.
Rosemary is survived by; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Charles Garrety, Ellen Svendsen, Heather (Scott) Kaufman, Don (Linda) Friessen II, Harry (Terry) Bell Jr.; many, many others.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 4pm Wednesday September 19, 2007 in the St. Paul Catholic Church, 308 Phillips St., Yellow Springs, OH 45387. Memorial contributions may be given, in Rosemary's memory, to the Right to Life Society 815 W Main St Springfield, OH 45504 or a charity of choice. Arrangements in care of the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, Yellow Springs.
