Sara A. Meredith, 100, of Washington Court House and formerly of Springfield, died Monday morning, August 20, 2007.

She was born in Highland County, Ohio on August 9, 1907 the daughter of Noah and Cora Myrtle (Stethem) Jenkins.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Inez Jenkins of Newark, Ohio; three nieces, Joyce Hoppes, Carolyn Blaney and Jean; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Meredith in 1977; two sisters, Bessie Ellenberger and Mabel Skeen; and three brothers, Robert, John and Noah Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
