Emerson Miller


Emerson Miller, 96, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday April 3, 2008 at home.

He was born August 13, 1911 in Darke County, Ohio the son of the late Amos & Rosa (Hollinger) Miller.

He is survived by his daughters, Norma Jean Ryman of North Hampton, Ohio, Wava E. Miller, Wilma & (Harold) Eley and Glenna (Larry) Nicodemus all of New Carlisle; daughter-in-law, Wilma Miller of Tipp City, Ohio; ten grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wava M. Miller in 1997; a son, Kenneth D. Miller; five brothers; and two sisters.

A gathering of family and friends will be 2-8 P.M. Saturday March 5, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Sunday at the Donnels Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.
