James B. Lee
James B. Lee, 85, of Springfield died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center High Street Campus.
He was born in Springfield on November 18, 1922 the son of James B. and Helen I. (Franzen) Lee. He retired from Riverdale Dairy in 1980 after forty-two years of service and later worked as a deputy for the Clark County Sheriff's Department for nine years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church and also was a WW2 US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Agnes M. (Erisman) Lee; five children and spouses, Karen Sullivan, Largo, FL, Barbara and Bill Brinsley, Springfield, Terry and Maggie Lee, Monroe, MI, Donald and Diana Lee, Enon, OH, David and Kim Lee, Springfield; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Bob Lemmons, Springfield; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Thomas Lee.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
