Harry Ruel Lee, Jr.
Harry Ruel Lee, Jr., 77, Colonel, USAF Retired, of Enon passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 in Springfield. He was born April 23, 1931 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the late Evelyn and Harry Lee, Sr.
He was raised in Manchester New Hampshire, and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in engineering. He later received an MBA from Kent State University. Colonel Lee served his country for 29 years as a pilot and Air Force officer and was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He was an active member of St. Pauls Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Lee, three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Herbert and Jane Lee of Hamilton, Ohio, Steven Michael and Regina Lee of Anamosa, Iowa, Charles David Lee of West Hartford, Connecticut, a brother Gordon Lee, seven grandchildren; Ryan, Matthew, Eric, Samantha, Andrew, Nathan, Christopher.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in St. Pauls Catholic Church, Yellow Springs, Ohio. Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Church.
Adkins Funeral Home, Enon is assisting Harrys family with his final wishes.
