Evelyn S. Long


Evelyn S. (White) Long, 63, of Springfield, passed away at 12:12 PM Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Community Hospital.

She was born December 30, 1944 in London, Ohio the daughter of Gladys Griffith.

Evelyn was a member of the Union Club and TOPS. She had been employed at Robbins and Myers and at Ohio Thermometer.

Survivors include her husband; Donald L. Long, one daughter; Terry White, two grandchildren; Nikki White and Angela (Robert) Martin, great grandchildren; Brittany, Robert, Kayna, Ethan, Hunter and Jayden, three brothers; Steve Griffith, Donald (Karen) Griffith and Dan (Margaret) Griffith, several nieces and nephews and best friends Janet Brown, Carol, Judy and Bonnie.

She was preceded in death by her mother, a daughter Tina and a sister Jackie Farmer. At Evelyn's request her remains will be cremated and there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
