Arretta Virginia Hornberger


Arretta Virginia Hornberger, 85, of Springfield, passed away at 6:10 AM Sunday, October 19, 2008 in Community Hospital.

She was born February 2, 1923, in Springfield, the daughter of Clarence and Olive (Foulk) Boatman. Arretta had been employed in the cafeteria at the J. V. S.

Survivors include her husband; Eugene Hornberger, four children; Fred (June) Lockhart, Huber Heights, Debbie (Bill) McClure, Texas, Tamara (Roger) Massie, Springfield and Wayne (Patricia) Hornberger, Huber Heights, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister Beverly (Homer) Davis, Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; Iris McPeak and Eileen Diehl and her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
