Anna Mae Gregory


Anna Mae Gregory, 92, of Springfield, died at 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008 in her residence. She was born July 26, 1915 in Springfield, Ohio to Andrew and Euphemia (Zwiefelhoefer) Haemmerle.

She was the owner and operator of Anna Mae's Beauty Shop in Springfield for 46 years retiring in 1979 and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sister, Freda Estep and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Primo in 1975, brothers Robert and Raymond Haemmerle and a sister Dorothy Cooney.

Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
