Vickie L. Dement, 53, of Springfield, died at 9 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in Community Hospital.

She was born January 13, 1954 in Union City, Indiana to Robert E. and Esther T. (Grimes) Moffitt. She had worked as a server for Bob Evans for five years.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband of 12 years, Charles "Ed"; two children and spouses, Tricia (David) Witkowski, St. Clair Shores, Michigan and Shawn (Susan) Hymer, Kettering; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Dement, Springfield; five siblings, Bruce, Sheila, Roger, Sue and Terry; five grandchildren, Warren, David, Hanna, Bret and Aalyah and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Robert E. Moffitt, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
