Richard Cornwell
Richard Cornwell, 76, of Springfield, died Friday August 31, 2007 in Ohio Masonic Home.
He was born August 5, 1931 in Dola, Ohio, the son of Harry A. and Marie Elizabeth (Kincaid) Cornwell.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University in 1953. Richard worked for Kraft Foods and retired after thirty-nine years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge in Massena, New York and Shriners in New York and Hendersonville, North Carolina where he was Past-President.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years Delores (Werner) Cornwell; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Donald Bushey of Ogdensburg, New York; Christine and Louis Troll of Upper Arlington; Carrie and Richard Plasse of Oswego, New York; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard and Karen Cornwell of Madison, Wisconsin and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday September 15, 2007 in Ohio Masonic Home Chapel, with Chaplain Keith Rhoden, officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229-3095. The family is being served by LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
