Paul Lamar Campbell
Paul Lamar Campbell 79, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday November 22, 2007 in Mercy St. Johns, Springfield, Ohio.
He was born February 2, 1928 on the family farm at Forgy (Bethel Township) to Lewis & Myrtle (Sigler) Campbell.
He was a 1948 graduate of Olive Branch High School. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired farmer.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elsie Binnig of New Carlisle, Ohio; a step son, Randy Lewis and a step daughter, Vicki Brannen both of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Paul Eric Campbell of Springfield, Mandi Lajiness and Mark L. Campbell II both of Monroe, Michigan. Also, good friends, Mr. & Mrs. Ron Jamison of New Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 29 years, Wava L. Campbell, a son, Mark Lamar Campbell and two brothers, Roy S. & Clarence E. Campbell.
He was confirmed at First Lutheran, Donnelsville but recently attended Lagonda Methodist in Springfield.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday November 26, 2007 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
