Charles F. Colliflower
Charles F. Colliflower of South Charleston, died November 18, 2008. He suffered heart and lung disease. He was born July 10, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Charles W. and Lucile (Britcher) Colliflower.
He served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1959. He was a member of the American Legion Post in South Charleston and a member of the South Charleston United Methodist Church. Fred retired from Emery Worldwide.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Colliflower, whom he missed dearly, and his parents.
Survivors include his sister; Phyllis Miller of London, Ohio, daughter and son in law; Julie and Ron Sadler of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter; Jill Taylor of South Charleston and daughter; June Nibert of Florence, Kentucky. Other survivors include seven grandchildren; Stacee, Stephanie and Curt Nibert, Lindsey and Leila Taylor and Eric and Shauna Sadler, and three great grandchildren; Braedan, Madeleine and Malloree.
Funeral services will be held in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME at 10:30 AM Saturday, with Rev. Doug Thompson officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 AM until the time of the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart or American Lung Association.
