Mona Elaine Baker
Mona Elaine Baker, 80, of Springfield, died Tuesday morning, December 4, 2007 in Oakwood Village Glaesner Care Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Springfield on March 20 1927 the daughter of Beckham and Grace (Eisnaugle) Moore.
Elaine retired from the City of Springfield Parks Department in 1992 after 30 years of service and also worked for National Tree Expert.
Survivors include her three children and spouses, Kathy and Don Flora of Springfield, Dale and Linda Baker of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Larry and Noy Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Judith Savage of Springfield; four grandchildren, Dustin Baker, Marlo (Josh) Oxley, Faith (Seth) Baker-Smith, and Beckham Baker; five great grandchildren, Austin and Jonathan Oxley, Mychal and Nu Nu Baker, and Josh Ballard Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Moore.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2007 in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Neil Haney officiating.
Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
