Marjorie J. Baker
Marjorie J. Baker, 78, of Springfield, died Wednesday morning, June 20, 2007 in her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born in Springfield on March 24, 1929 the daughter of Homer and Mary (Tope) Martin.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clyde E. Baker; a son, Larry Baker of Springfield; six grandchildren, Bridgett Baker, Layla Baker (Ervin Hawk), Angela (Jonathan) Earles, Aleya Hawk, Stacey (Don) Larson, and Leslie Baker; eleven great grandchildren Earon, E.J., Jarrod, Adriana, David, Logan, Conner, Jacob, Triston, Alexis, and Ryman; a sister, Opal Wiseman of Springfield; a brother, Ronnie Martin of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Clyde Baker, Edward Baker, David and Penny Baker, and an infant son; a sister, Mildred Perkins; and a brother, Dwayne Martin.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lutz of Piqua Church of the Brethren officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
