Linda "Gale" Brown
Linda "Gale" Brown, 51, of Springfield, went Home to be with her Lord at 5:55 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in her residence.
She was born December 27, 1956 in Springfield the daughter of Rev. George Raymond and Delora Katherine (Daniel) Moore.
Gale was a devoted member of the United Holiness Church where she taught Sunday School, was a Board Member and a Youth Leader. She blessed the congregation with her beautiful singing voice. Gale loved her family and enjoyed cooking and music. Upon her graduation from Springfield Clark County JVS, she was hired into the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Gale had been employed in sales at Quintessential Advisors.
Survivors include her parents of Springfield, one daughter Katie Rieske, Springfield, one son Paul Brown, Springfield, three grandchildren; Blake, Seth and Xavier, two sisters Kathy Collins of Enon, Karen (Dave) Criner of Fairborn, one brother Alan (Maxine) Moore of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 6 until 8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in the United Holiness Church, Lyle Avenue, with Pastor Doug McConehea officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
