Joseph E. Baader, 84, of Boca Raton, FL formerly of Springfield died at 5:32 p.m. Friday November 2, 2007 in Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, FL.
He was born April 7, 1923 in Springfield, OH to Jacob and Marie (Sweeney) Baader. Joe owned and operated Baader-Brown Manufacturing that he founded in 1955. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, K of C Council 624 and a member of the Springfield Country Club.
His survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Wysong, Cincinnati, OH, a son, Edward (Nancy) Baader, daughter in law, Jenny Baader, Springfield, OH, 6 grandchildren, Julie Holcomb, Suzanne Wysong, Andrea (Dave Drapes) Baader, Steffanie (Jamie) Lancaster and Ashley and Michael Baader; 4 great grandchildren, Brandon and Allison Cannon and Thomas Holcomb and Sascha Drapes; a brother, William (Mary Catharine "Pat") Baader, Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews and former daughter in law, Kathy (Jim) Howell. His wife, Mary Frances in 2006 and a son, James, grandson, Peter and son in law, John Wysong preceded him in death.
Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Joachim Gemperline and Rev. William Wysong officiating. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Mausoleum. Memorial donation may be made to the John Wysong Memorial Scholarship Fund or Catholic Central High School Foundation.
