Donald Franklin Boldman
Donald Franklin Boldman, 76, of Enon died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center Fountain Campus.
He was born in Lucasville, Ohio on March 4, 1931, the son of Ernest Franklin and Dorothy B. (Sloas) Boldman.
Don proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War receiving a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and was a POW. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the American Legion, VFW Post 1031, and the DAV.
Don was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife of 25 years, Jacqueline L. (Shroyer) Boldman; one daughter Shirley & David Williams of Columbus, two step daughters Sharon & Stanley Gentner of Enon, and Kathleen & Robert Catalano of Medway; one son Donald E. & Tonia Boldman and step son Michael (Andrea Greene) Timberman both of Springfield; one sister Betty & Ray Pearson and one brother Shannon & Peachie Boldman both of Springfield; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 AM in the memorial home with Pastor Keith Sarver officiating. Burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
