Cloa Blevins, 84, of South Charleston, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008.

She was born on December 3, 1923, a daughter of Brian and Kelsie Belcher.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Rush Belcher and Theodore Belcher; sister, June Bingham; great-granddaughter, Angel Louise Rutherford; grandson, Robert Lavender; and granddaughter, Roberta Lavender-Shipley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Blevins; son, Jerry (Patricia) Blevins; 2 daughters, Marvella (Jim) Lavender and Mary Alice (Emmett) Staton; brother, Woodrow (Levern) Belcher; sister, Audrey Ratliff; 15 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cloa loved playing Bingo and Rook, and had a passion for cooking and riding horses in her early years. She was devoted to her family and will be truly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 5-8 PM at JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME- SPRINGFIELD, with funeral service on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 1 PM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
